The Stellantis Group recently announced the termination of its hydrogen fuel cell technology development project due to limited hydrogen refueling facilities, high capital requirements and a lack of strong incentives. It is expected that hydrogen-powered light commercial vehicles will not be commercialized before 2030. Previously, Stellantis planned to launch a new hydrogen-powered Pro One series of vehicles this year, but with the release of the evaluation results, the company decided not to continue investing in related technology research and development.
