According to Reuters and China Securities Journal, Zeekr and Nezha Auto were accused of falsifying sales data to achieve aggressive sales targets. Reuters' investigation showed that Nezha Auto insured the vehicles before they were sold to the final buyers, thereby recording the vehicles as sales in advance to meet monthly and quarterly sales targets. Documents show that between January 2023 and March 2024, Nezha recorded at least 64,719 vehicles as sales in advance in this way, accounting for more than half of the 117,000 sales it reported in those 15 months.
