Waymo expands self-driving service in Austin

Waymo announced that it will expand its service area in Austin, Texas, from the previous 37 square miles to 90 square miles. The expansion aims to consolidate Waymo's leading position in the market to meet the challenges of competitors such as Tesla. Currently, Waymo has more than 100 self-driving vehicles connected to the Uber platform in the Austin area.
