Pony.ai’s L4 autonomous driving domain controller completes 2 million kilometers of road testing

Pony.ai announced that the L4 automotive-grade domain controller on its seventh-generation Robotaxi has completed more than 2 million kilometers of road testing. The controller uses four NVIDIA® Drive Orin X chips with a computing power of up to 1016 TOPS, providing a mass-producible, highly secure computing platform for Pony.ai's Robotaxi. In addition, the cost of the domain controller is 80% lower than the previous generation, and the design life is extended to 10 years/600,000 kilometers, significantly reducing the total cost of the entire life cycle.
