BYD's factory in Türkiye is progressing faster than expected

BYD originally planned to start production in Turkey at the end of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 150,000 vehicles. However, according to sources, the progress of the plant has far exceeded expectations and is expected to exceed the output of the Hungarian plant next year. By 2027, the production capacity of the plant in Manisa, western Turkey, will far exceed 150,000 vehicles, and will increase significantly in 2028.
