BYD's Hungarian plant plans to start production by the end of this year

In response to rumors that BYD's Hungarian factory was delayed in mass production and that its production capacity was lower than planned, BYD responded on July 24: "Our plans in Europe are long-term. The construction progress of the Szeged factory in Hungary is in full compliance with expectations, and the project is still proceeding according to the established schedule, with plans to start production before the end of this year."
