Great Wall Motors focuses on Russia, South America and right-hand drive markets

Great Wall Motors plans to achieve overseas sales of 520,000 vehicles in 2025, of which the Haval brand will account for about 70% of sales, and pickup trucks and the Tank brand will each account for 10%-20%. However, overseas sales in the first half of the year were only 198,000 vehicles, completing 38% of the annual target. Great Wall Motors' sales performance in the Russian market is not optimistic. In 2024, its sales in Russia reached 229,800 vehicles, accounting for about 12% of the local market share, but its sales in the first half of 2025 fell by 21.5% year-on-year. The South American market, especially Brazil, has become the main growth point for Great Wall Motors' overseas sales in 2025. Great Wall Motors' sales in Brazil have reached about 15,000 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 20%.
