European car market sales fall in June

According to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), in June 2025, new car sales in Europe fell 5.1% year-on-year to 1.24 million units, marking the biggest monthly drop since August 2024. Sales in Germany, Italy and France fell by 13.8%, 17.4% and 6.7% respectively, while sales in the UK and Spain increased by 6.7% and 15.2% respectively.
