China's FAW and Leapmotor jointly develop smart electric vehicles overseas

FAW and Leapmotor are accelerating the implementation of their strategic cooperation, planning to jointly develop new smart electric vehicles for overseas markets based on Leapmotor's B platform technology. This cooperation model is similar to the successful cooperation between Leapmotor and Stellantis. Leapmotor's B platform models, such as the global car B10 and the new sedan B01, have proven their strength and helped Leapmotor top the new power export list in the first half of the year, with exports exceeding 20,000 units, of which 84% were sold to the European market.
