Domestic demand for new energy vehicles continues to rise

From January to June this year, the cumulative sales of new energy passenger vehicles in China reached 5.468 million, a year-on-year increase of 33.3%. Among them, the sales of new energy passenger vehicles in June reached 1.111 million, with a penetration rate of 53.3%, an increase of 4.8 percentage points over the same period last year. The penetration rate of new energy passenger vehicles of traditional luxury brands also rose to 30.3%, showing the strong momentum of the comprehensive electrification strategy in the Chinese market.
