Microsoft reportedly in advanced talks with OpenAI to secure access to AGI technology

Microsoft is in advanced negotiations with OpenAI on a new agreement to ensure that Microsoft can continue to use its latest models and technologies even if OpenAI achieves artificial general intelligence (AGI). The existing contract between the two parties contains a clause that would prevent Microsoft from using some of its advanced technologies if OpenAI achieves AGI.
