Renesas Electronics suspends SiC business

Renesas Electronics has decided to suspend its silicon carbide (SiC) power device business and write down related assets in the second quarter of 2025. This decision was made due to issues such as high costs, slow customer conversion, and unclear product platforms in the SiC field.
