Volvo Cars USA and Lear Corp. in legal dispute over parts supply

Volvo Cars USA is locked in a legal dispute with key supplier Lear Corp. after Lear halted the supply of custom seat components to Volvo's South Carolina plant, halting assembly lines and forcing hundreds of employees to take leave. Volvo is accusing Lear of breaching a long-term contract and seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to force Lear to resume deliveries while the case proceeds.
