Porsche restructures electric vehicle battery subsidiary Cellforce

Porsche will carry out a large-scale restructuring of its electric vehicle battery subsidiary Cellforce, which is expected to lay off about 200 employees, accounting for the majority of the total workforce. Cellforce was established in 2021 by Porsche and German specialty battery manufacturer Customcells Holding, focusing on the research and development and production of high-performance batteries.
