Foxconn and Mitsubishi Fuso reach cooperation agreement on electric commercial vehicles

Foxconn's parent company, Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd., has signed a memorandum of understanding with Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Co., Ltd. to collaborate on electric commercial vehicles. Mitsubishi Fuso will launch its own-brand Model T electric buses and Model U medium-sized buses, developed by Foxconn's Foxtron subsidiary, with plans to officially launch them in the Japanese market in 2027.
