Lotus Cars to cut major jobs in UK

Lotus Cars plans to cut approximately 550 jobs in the UK, representing 40% of its total UK workforce, as it seeks to reduce losses and cope with pressure from increased US tariffs. The layoffs will affect various departments across the UK, with the biggest impact being at its Hethel production base in eastern England.
