Didi announces settlement agreement with executives and directors

Didi Chuxing announced during its second-quarter earnings release that it had reached a settlement agreement with certain current and former executives and directors to resolve securities litigation related to Didi Global. Under the agreement, Didi agreed to pay $740 million. Didi emphasized that the company had engaged in no wrongdoing and that the settlement was intended to avoid the costs and disruption to its business development that would result from the litigation.
