GAC Group expects losses of 2.5 billion yuan in the first half of 2025

In the first half of 2025, GAC Group reported operating revenue of 42.166 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 7.95%, and a net loss of 2.538 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 267.39%. Its new energy vehicle sales were 154,100 units, a year-on-year decrease of 6.08%, falling short of expectations. Sales and revenue declined across GAC Group's four brands: GAC Toyota, GAC Honda, GAC Trumpchi, and GAC Aion. GAC Group cited fierce competition in the new energy vehicle market and the failure of its sales channels and marketing system to keep pace with market changes as the primary reason for the decline in performance.
