Beijing Hyundai recalls 3,469 Kusto vehicles

Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. announced a recall of 3,469 2024 model-year Custro vehicles manufactured between May 11, 2025, and June 24, 2025, effective September 5, 2025. The recall is due to a manufacturing process issue that may result in insufficient tightening torque on the rear brake hose and the four-way connector. In extreme cases, this could lead to reduced braking performance and pose a safety hazard. Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. will replace the rear brake hose and four-way connector free of charge for all recalled vehicles to eliminate the safety hazard.
