Nepal's auto market welcomes wave of Chinese electric vehicles

In recent years, Chinese electric vehicle brands such as BYD and SAIC MG have emerged in the Nepali market, rapidly gaining popularity with their cost-effectiveness and designs tailored to the local terrain. Data shows that electric vehicles now account for 76% of new car sales in Nepal, the vast majority of which are made in China.
