Hengmei Optoelectronics completes acquisition of Samsung SDI's polarizer business

On September 1, Hengmei Optoelectronics, through its subsidiary Hengxin Optoelectronics, completed the acquisition of Samsung SDI's polarizer business for approximately 1.12 trillion won. This acquisition made Hengmei Optoelectronics the world's largest polarizer manufacturer and further consolidated China's core position in the global display industry chain.
