Mercedes-Benz plans to discontinue EQE series in 2026

Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will cease production of the EQE sedan and SUV in 2026. This decision reflects the challenges the brand faces in its electrification transition. Although the EQE series was seen as a major step in Mercedes' electrification strategy when it launched in 2022, its sales have been poor, with fewer than 250 units sold in July 2025.
