BYD's 60Ah all-solid-state battery rolls off pilot production line

BYD announced that its 60Ah all-solid-state battery has rolled off the pilot production line. This battery, utilizing sulfide all-solid-state technology, boasts an energy density of 400Wh/kg. The battery boasts a discharge efficiency of 85% at -30°C and supports 10C ultra-fast charging. The company plans to begin mass demonstration and installation of its all-solid-state battery in 2027.
