BYD showcases 9,000-ton die-casting production line

BYD Executive Vice President He Zhiqi demonstrated BYD's 9,000-ton die-casting production line on September 5. This line transforms the front and rear cabin floors from 74 welded stamped parts into one large die-cast aluminum unit, significantly improving efficiency and reducing weight. He Zhiqi called this a major advancement in Chinese manufacturing.
