SAIC Motor plans to open 1,000 car maintenance outlets

SAIC Motor announced a nationwide rollout of 1,000 "SAIC Auto Care" outlets, aiming to reshape the automotive aftermarket ecosystem. This strategy will utilize a "direct sales in core cities combined with franchise opportunities in lower-tier markets" model, focusing on standard services such as express maintenance, tire replacements, and battery health checks. At the same time, 4S dealerships will shift towards lower-frequency, high-value services such as lifetime vehicle warranties, accident vehicle repairs, and intelligent driving system upgrades.
