Russian car market sales analysis report in August 2025

In August 2025, Russian passenger car sales reached 122,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 17.6%. Cumulative sales in the first eight months reached 773,264 units, a year-on-year decrease of 23%. Domestic brand Lada saw declining sales and a loss of market share. Chinese brands such as Haval, Chery, Geely, Changan, and Jetta performed reliably in the market. The Belarusian-Geely brand, launched in partnership with Geely, has grown rapidly and become a new market highlight.
