Automobile subsidy policies in many places have been adjusted or suspended

As of September 12, 2025, the commerce bureaus in Shandong, Hunan, Henan, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Jiangsu provinces have announced the suspension of vehicle replacement and renewal subsidies or adjustments to related policies. In Shandong and Jiangxi provinces, the timing of new vehicle invoice issuance is used as the basis for subsidies, while in Hubei and Shenzhen, the timing of voucher redemption is used as the basis for subsidies. The Ministry of Finance will implement a personal consumer loan interest subsidy policy starting in September 2025, offering up to 3,000 yuan in subsidies for car purchases, which can be combined with subsidies in some regions.
