TP-Link, a global leader in the router market, has completely laid off its chip department, which was primarily responsible for router chip R&D. Reportedly, all chip-related positions within TP-Link have been closed, and many of the laid-off employees are recent graduates who have only been employed for two months. The layoff compensation package includes N+3 compensation for employees who have worked for one year, N+2 compensation for employees who have worked between six and one year, and N+1 compensation for employees who have been employed for less than six months.
