Lyft and Waymo team up to launch self-driving taxi service

Lyft, the US ride-hailing platform, has announced a partnership with Waymo, Alphabet's self-driving car company, to launch a self-driving taxi service in Nashville, Tennessee. The service will be available to the public via the Waymo app next year and will be integrated into the Lyft platform in 2026.
