Aptiv to sell electrical distribution systems business for $5 billion

Auto parts giant Aptiv is considering selling its electrical distribution systems business for $5 billion, a move that could replace a planned spin-off. The business contributed $7.5 billion in sales in 2024, or 37% of the group's total revenue.
