CATL plans to launch new high-nickel batteries

CATL plans to launch a new 8-series high-nickel battery next year, which will be used in extended-range models from some emerging EV manufacturers. The 8-series high-nickel battery is a ternary lithium-ion battery with a cathode material ratio of approximately 8:1:1 for nickel, cobalt, and manganese.
