CATL and Shouqi Group reached a strategic cooperation

On September 25, 2025, Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL), a leading global power battery manufacturer, and Shouqi Group, a renowned Chinese automotive mobility service provider, signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will collaborate in multiple areas, including passenger transport, leasing, services, and energy supply. The agreement aims to promote vehicle electrification, optimize after-sales service, implement waste battery recycling, and deploy charging and swapping infrastructure. This collaboration aims to support China's "dual carbon" goals and accelerate the transition to new energy in the mobility services sector. Shouqi Group's portfolio includes mobility brands such as Shouqi Car-hailing, Shouqi Car Rental, and Shouqi Zhixing, and CATL, with its superior power battery technology, has become the preferred supplier for these brands.
