Nissan adjusts its US market strategy, suspending Ariya electric vehicle exports

762
Nissan plans to stop exporting the Ariya electric vehicle to the US market. This decision is based on the Trump administration's high tariffs and sluggish demand for electric vehicles. Nissan will also cease sales of the Ariya once US inventory is sold out. Although US production of the Ariya will end after 2025, its future beyond that remains uncertain. Nissan has not ruled out the possibility of relaunching the Ariya, but has not yet made any commitments.
