Tesla launches new "people-friendly model"

Tesla recently released new "affordable" models: stripped-down versions of the Model 3 and Model Y. Starting at $37,000 and $40,000, respectively, these vehicles are the lowest-priced models in Tesla's lineup. However, due to the expiration of the federal electric vehicle tax credit, these prices are actually higher than they were in the US market a week ago.
