Texas Instruments plans to lay off 400 employees

Texas Instruments, a global leader in analog ICs and a major automotive chip manufacturer, announced that it will lay off approximately 400 employees at its Dallas, Brownsville, and Austin plants. The layoffs are primarily due to TI's plan to close its remaining 150mm wafer fabs in North Texas.
