Chinese research team achieves major breakthrough in solid-state lithium battery field

A research team from the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has achieved a significant breakthrough in the field of solid-state lithium batteries. By developing a new material that achieves molecular-scale interface integration, they have overcome the challenges of high interface impedance and low ion transport efficiency in solid-state batteries. This new material not only exhibits high ion transport capabilities but also enables controlled switching between ion transport and storage behavior across different potential ranges. The integrated flexible battery constructed using this material exhibits excellent flex resistance, withstanding 20,000 repeated bends.
