STMicroelectronics extends automotive microcontroller supply to 20 years

STMicroelectronics has announced an extension of its SPC58 automotive microcontroller supply plan from 15 to 20 years, ensuring product line availability through at least 2038. The general-purpose SPC58 H series, featuring up to 10MB of non-volatile memory, will be available until at least 2041. The high-performance SPC58 E and SPC58 N series are also available, targeting powertrain electrification and chassis safety applications.
