Polestar closes its last directly-operated store in China

Polestar's last directly-operated store in Shanghai officially closed on October 13th, marking the end of the brand's offline direct sales system in China. Polestar, a luxury electric vehicle brand co-founded by Geely and Volvo, has faced severe operational difficulties in recent years. In the first half of 2025, Polestar sold only 69 vehicles in China, with zero sales for two consecutive months.
