Audi purchasing chief Renate Vachenauer to leave

Audi purchasing chief Renate Vachenauer will leave the company at the end of the year; her contract will not be renewed. Production chief Gerd Walker will temporarily take over purchasing responsibilities until a new appointment is made in early 2026. Vachenauer's departure was not amicable, as she had previously been rumored to be leaving due to parts supply issues.
