Dutch government takes over Nexperia

The Dutch government took control of chipmaker Nexperia in September after the United States warned it would be placed on a sanctions list unless its Chinese chief executive was replaced. The government took control of the company under a Cold War-era law designed to guarantee access to critical products in emergencies.
