Analysis of Mexican Automotive Market Sales in September 2025

By September 2025, total auto sales in Mexico reached 117,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%. Japanese and American brands continued to dominate, with Nissan maintaining its top spot with sales of 20,800 units, an 11.5% year-on-year increase. However, growth slowed for some European and American brands, such as Chevrolet, which saw sales decline by 8.3% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Chinese brands maintained significant growth in the Mexican market, with sales approaching 10,000 units.
