Geely Auto recalls 2019 Binrui 1.0T models

Geely Auto has announced a recall of 46,108 2019 Binrui 1.0T vehicles manufactured between December 17, 2018, and March 31, 2020. The recall is due to unclear markings on the engine oil filler cap and in the owner's manual regarding the appropriate oil type, which could lead to users using an incompatible oil type during subsequent maintenance. In extreme cases, this incompatible oil could cause engine damage, leading to safety hazards and excessive emissions.
