Average price of new energy vehicles in China falls below 160,000 yuan

According to data released by Cui Dongshu, secretary-general of the China Passenger Car Association, in September 2025, the average price of China's new energy vehicles fell below the 160,000 yuan mark for the first time, falling to 158,000 yuan, a decrease of more than 8% from 172,000 yuan in the same period last year.
