Data shows that Tesla has recorded 4,637 related repair cases in South Korea. These affected vehicles primarily include the 2020-2021 Model 3 and Model Y Long Range models. Tesla's replacement program for "remanufactured batteries" has been ineffective, with a recurrence rate of up to 37%. Faced with Tesla's passive response, South Korean owners have taken collective action, garnering over 14,000 signatures in support. Some owners have also joined forces with legal teams to file a class action lawsuit.
