Three-level main drive SiC power modules have recently garnered widespread attention. Companies such as Geely, Changan, United Automotive Electronics/Bosch, Dana, and ABB have all launched three-level main drive-grade silicon carbide (SiC) modules. SiC module manufacturers such as Fuji Electric, Semikron, and Infineon have also joined the fray. While less hype than embedded modules, three-level SiC modules appear to be approaching mass production at a faster pace. Some manufacturers have revealed that their products have entered the sample verification phase, with mass production expected to begin in 2026.
