Opel cancels 2028 full electrification target

Opel announced in August that it would cancel its goal of fully electrifying its vehicles by 2028. This decision was made after considering market factors and the R&D support capabilities of its parent company, Stellantis Group. Opel will continue to promote the development of electric vehicles but will no longer set a specific timetable.
