Toyota denies full implementation of "single-city, single-store" model

Recently, some media outlets misinterpreted Toyota's channel reform strategy. Toyota China clarified that the so-called "single-city, single-store" model, which involves setting up only one 4S dealership in each city to sell the full range of GAC Toyota and FAW Toyota models, is being piloted in a very small number of lower-tier cities, rather than being fully implemented.
