Chinese automakers have made significant inroads in developing and low-income economies, particularly in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Leveraging their competitive pricing, Chinese auto brands are rapidly gaining market share in these regions. For example, in Brazil, Chinese brands' market share is projected to rise from 6.8% in 2024 to 9.1% in 2025. In Australia, Chinese brands' market share has reached nearly 17%.
