Demonstration of the advantages of polarization imaging technology in target resolution

To demonstrate the advantages of polarization imaging in target resolution, researchers designed a mask that simulated a target with a spatially varying polarization profile and conducted long-wave infrared polarization imaging experiments based on meta-QWIP. The experimental results demonstrated that polarization imaging can provide additional contrast, thereby better resolving targets with similar radiation intensity to the background.
