SK Hynix starts moving equipment into its M15X factory to accelerate HBM mass production

SK Hynix has shipped the first batch of equipment to its M15X fab in Cheongju to accelerate HBM mass production. M15X is an expansion of SK Hynix's existing M15 fab, with an additional investment of over 20 trillion won. SK Hynix has reportedly sold out all of its HBM production capacity for this year and is the first among Samsung and Micron's three major memory fabs to complete mass production of its sixth-generation HBM (HBM4).
